Octaves

I’ve built two octave pedals so far, each with its own voice and purpose. They’re not kept in the main HFX range, but they’re available to order if you’re after something a little different.

Octave down

The Octalope has a thick, gnarly analogue octave-down pedal with a filtered square wave character. It tracks monophonically and brings a synth-y, glitchy edge, great for bass lines, soloing, or adding weight to fuzz. Inspired by the classic OC-style sound but dirtier and more fun.

This custom design also has an envelope filter too!

embers octave

This one pushes the other way - a high-octave effect that brings out touch-sensitive harmonics and adds grit and bite to double stops, chords, and leads. It works best after fuzz or drive and adds a raw, broken sparkle to your signal.

This circuit is usually found in the Embers Deluxe, but I’d happily make it standalone if you like. £160 without custom graphics - just drop me a message!

Make it stand out.

Custom graphics are available on request - whether you want something minimal, vintage-inspired, or totally out there. I can work with your ideas or come up with a design that fits the sound. Just let me know when you order, and we’ll figure out the right look. There’s a small extra cost, but it’s worth it for something one-of-a-kind.
