Embers Fuzz wiTh underdrive

£180 - Made to order

Embers is built around the sound and feel of a fuzz pedal with your guitar volume rolled back, made available on a footswitch.

At lower gain settings, it is dynamic, touch-sensitive and responsive to picking strength. As you push it harder, it opens naturally into classic silicon fuzz - expressive and full.

Featured Products

Embers Octave
£160.00

A high-octave effect that brings out touch-sensitive harmonics and adds grit and bite to double stops, chords, and leads. It works best after fuzz or drive and adds a raw, broken sparkle to your signal.

This circuit is usually found in the Embers Deluxe, but I’d happily make it standalone if you like. £160 without custom graphics - just drop me a message!

Two Face Fuzz
£200.00

A fuzz face style pedal where the two transistors are individually switchable. Check out the video where I made this pedal here:

Companion
£140.00

The Companion is a purpose-built solution for a classic problem: making vintage-style fuzz pedals sound right after a buffer, wah, wireless system, or anything else that alters your guitar’s natural impedance. Traditional fuzz circuits, especially Fuzz Face-style pedals, rely on the high-impedance signal from your guitar pickups. Put a buffer in front, and you’ll often lose dynamics, character, and that expressive, woolly texture fuzz is known for.

Companion fixes this. It’s a compact, always-on circuit designed to sit between any buffered signal and your fuzz pedal, restoring the interaction that fuzz circuits crave. It reintroduces the impedance and frequency response your fuzz expects, bringing back the touch sensitivity, richness, and musical feel, without having to rearrange your entire pedalboard.

Whether you run a wireless rig, rely on buffered bypass pedals, or just want your fuzz to behave predictably in any setup, Companion is the invisible hero. Featuring a humbuckers/single-coil toggle, plug it in once, and forget it's there, until you switch on your fuzz.
